While the game was only announced around the end of 2017, Square Enix has made the Final Fantasy XV Pocket Edition page available on the AppStore and the Google Play Store, allowing pre-orders/pre-registers for the release on February 9, the date on which the game will be available for free (with complementary in-store purchases).

It should be noted that Chapters 2 and 3 will be available via a purchase of $0.99 (1.09€) each, while the following, up to Chapter 10, will cost $3.99 (4.49€) each. A global integrated purchase, a kind of season pass, available at $19.99 (21.99€), will unlock all the chapters.
